College Life (Semester 2)

Well, college life has started again. I just finished up watching the Super Bowl in high definition on a buddies set we brought into our room. We ended up having 19 people in our room, along with any type of food to tickle your fancy.

This semester marks the beginning of my photography class. We'll be doing strictly film, and primarily black and white, so expect to see some of it up soon. I'm using my boss' old Canon A-1 with an assortment of lenses. I believe I have a 50 f1.8, 35-70, 210 f3.5, and a 2x converter. I've been shooting with the 50 f1.8 mostly, and its definitely a different feel than my 20d. I love the small, all metal construction. It's been great for low light, tight situations. As recommended by a friend, I'm using some Ilford Delta 400. Hopefully I'll be able to get a roll developed tomorrow and check out the preliminary results.

We'll see about going to school for it. I'll most likely end up taking some classes for it, but I cant see myself majoring in photography. It seems too hard to make a living doing it.
